We are currently looking for a passionate, entreprenurial and highly analytical Operations & Business Development Intern to join our team in Singapore, for one of our newest ventures! Come embark on an exciting journey in the core of business development and entrepreneurship.
This position is an exciting and extraordinary opportunity to be at the root of a fast growing and constantly developing company. You will gain insight and first hand experience into an internet start-up, learn day-to-day management and build functional expertise.
You should be a highly motivated and analytical individual who is interested in entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and is able to quickly assume a great deal of responsibility. In this role, you will gain deep insight into how start-ups operate, and will have the opportunity to work alongside an international team with a strong track record. Furthermore you will have to rotate across departments to identify improvement areas across key functions like recruitment, sales and quality controls. Additionally, you have to identify areas for improvement in internal processes and design new processes. It will provide you with immense opportunities for initiative, creation and leadership. High performing interns may have the opportunity to return for full-time employment.
Who we’re looking for
- Ideally you have already successfully obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree from university, with outstanding communication skills and fluency in English
- Highly motivated, with an absolute hands-on mentality, exceptional analytic skills and strong communication skills. You will also possess independence, ambition and professionalism, and be a total Excel Whiz!
- A strong interest in e-commerce (an interest in the automotive industry or start-ups is highly preferable)
- You have a clear interest in people and are motivated to work in a start-up environment, and you are flexible and agile Furthermore, you are excited to work in an inspiring and developing country
- Degree-qualified in a related field with at least 1-2 years relevant work experience
- Ability to work on abstract and complex systems
- Master of Excel (formulas, pivot table, data validation)
- Motvated self starter with excellent communication skills and the desire to make a difference!
