Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality presales technical consultation and develop cost effective, resilient, innovative and reliable Network solutions.
  • To participate in tender bids and win proposals with high customer satisfaction in services and quality solution.
  • Understand customers networking and security requirements
  • Provide high quality network design and ensure that solutions proposed meet customers’ need
  • Ensure that solutions can be integrated into overall network framework of customer or proposal
  • Able to conceptualize, present and articulate features and benefits to customers
  • Able to apply consulting framework and methodologies to develop customers’ proposals with high quality
  • Prepare win/loss analysis for proposals / bids / tenders submitted to facilitate continuous improvement of solutions designed.
  • Keeps abreast of technological advancement in the IT industry especially in the area of Cloud.
  • Understand the latest Network/Security Threats and issues as well as their mitigating solutions.
  • Able to articulate best security practices of large customer installed base.
    To provide timely update on progress.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Engineering/IT Security or related discipline.
  • AWS or Azure or equivalent experience would be preferred
  • Good knowledge of Cloud based CRM, ERP, HRM, POS etc.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in IT Network industry and involved in Presales or Postsales of medium to large/complex Infrastructure.
  • Familiar in either Routing, Switching, Wireless, MPLS, DHCP, DNS, NAC, Proxy, Syslog, Firewall, SSL VPN, Network Management and Structured Cabling
  • Ability to perform independently and interface with customers, partners and account team.
  • Good knowledge of consulting frameworks and methodologies
  • Good fundamentals in the understanding of the inter dependencies of the services (application, system & network)
  • Knowledge of IPV6 and the related security implications.
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Independent and ability to work under pressure and in ambiguous environment
