Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Establishing, developing, maintaining and expanding professional relationships with key decision makers within the partners organization
  • Proactively assess and identify the needs of new and existing clients directly or with partners. 
  • Generating sales leads and leveraging leads delivered by marketing and other channels from existing customers and new business opportunities. 
  • Determining requirements through discussions, presentations and demonstrations. 
  • Mobilising the extended team internally, namely: technical, marketing, senior executives to assist in the achievement of outcomes. 
  • Mobilising external partners such as: technology product partners, resellers, service providers etc as needed for relevant opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluate shifting market trends to prioritize target industries and customers 
  • Qualify SI partners to expand business into targeted verticals
  • Leveraging on partners’ to execute go to market plans, planning and executing programs to up-sell and cross-sell into partners’ customer base.
  • Enroll different types and level of partners for our targeted Go-To-Market initiatives and opportunities.
  • Responsible for upholding Alpha7 Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.


Requirements  

  • You are diploma/degree qualified in business administration, accountancy, communications, marketing or a related field but not essential 
  • You possess minimum 2-3 years of working experience in channel sales and marketing with emphasis on solution selling and preferably within the Networking or Software industry but not essential. Fresh graduates with the right attitude and aptitude will also be considered. 
  • Proven ability/Ability to develop business relationships and network with partners/clients and relationship building capability at all levels of the business 
  • Proven sales achievement against quota and strong business acumen 
  • Able to work autonomously within the business environment in the absence of immediate supervision 
  • Demonstrate excellent industry best practices in customer relationship management and strong persuasive solution sales skills 
  • Display tactfulness, courtesy and proven telephony sales skills 
  • Good time management and able to handle multiple tasks or projects 
  • Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail 
  • Maintain, prepare and compile data for regular reporting 
  • Excellent presentation, articulate, communication and writing skills 
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Singaporean preferred but not essential
