Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Primary point-of-contact for major account/(s) regardless of account’s geographic location. Maintains contact with account at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship while expanding the contacts deep and wide within the customer organization. 
  • Sell the organization’s products or services to and maintains relationships with existing named accounts. Responsible for expanding and retaining named accounts/existing clients while ensuring ongoing customer service.  
  • Prepare formal proposals and presentations, present to all levels of the organization including executives, leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision making processes and overcomes objectives to closure, and close sales in a professional and effective manner. 
  • Lead and manage opportunities within longer selling cycles while driving short term revenue opportunities monthly. 
  • Develop account plans for top 10 accounts and review with senior management and customers on regular basis.
  • Responsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and pro-actively identifying and addressing competitive threats. 
  • Drive strategic and solution selling on medium and/or large opportunities that are characterized by a combination of technical, business, financial, human resources issues related to the strategic and tactical direction of customers 
  • Orchestrate between multiple departments to ensure a total solution is presented to the customer 
  • Establishes "C" level contact within opportunities and demonstrates a detailed understanding of both the prospects’ sector and business drivers/challenges. 
  • Proactive Account Management – Including regular client meetings/service reviews 
  • Deliver accurate business forecasting at a plus or minus 10% accuracy rate and maintain an appropriate value level sales funnel for future business 
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue goals. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments and government regulations that effect target markets. 
  • Responsible for upholding Alpha7 Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. 


Requirement

  • You are diploma/degree qualified in business administration, accountancy, communications, marketing or a related field but not essential 
  • You possess minimum 2-3 years of working experience in channel sales and marketing with emphasis on solution selling and preferably within the Networking or Software industry but not essential. Fresh graduates with the right attitude and aptitude will also be considered. 
  • Proven ability/Ability to develop business relationships and network with partners/clients and relationship building capability at all levels of the business 
  • Proven sales achievement against quota and strong business acumen 
  • Able to work autonomously within the business environment in the absence of immediate supervision 
  • Demonstrate excellent industry best practices in customer relationship management and strong persuasive solution sales skills 
  • Display tactfulness, courtesy and proven telephony sales skills 
  • Good time management and able to handle multiple tasks or projects 
  • Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail 
  • Maintain, prepare and compile data for regular reporting 
  • Excellent presentation, articulate, communication and writing skills 
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Singaporean preferred but not essential
