Job Description
Required Skills:
• 7-8 years with Project Management specific to the Structured Cabling industry (10+ is a plus)
• Cable or Systems experience with: Wireless Access Control, LAN, WAN, VoIP, Video, PBX, Security, CATV, CCTV, Intercoms
• Hands on skills with pulling and patching cable
• Proven experience with Cable Design (Visio also a plus)
• Documented skills using cable software design tools
• Proven experience managing vendors and a team of workers to complete projects
• Familiarity with large Enterprise environments
• Knowledge of cabling guidelines for specific areas (to be determined by location)
• Must be able to work with on-line workflow management systems, e.g. Remedy
• Good verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently
• RCDD required
• Installer or Technician background is preferred

Overview of responsibilities:
• Supervises structured cabling installation, maintenance, design, documentation and completion of projects
• Manage multiple projects in multiple locations simultaneously
• Performs site surveys, prices new projects, attends meetings, and proposes solutions to installation issues
• Manages and coordinates vendors, subcontractors, and workers at client sites to ensure installation completion
• Services new and existing customers and communicates project status to all involved
• Builds and Maintains customer relationships
• Design and distribute vertical and horizontal pull and patch schedules and prepare detailed distribution, routing and riser diagrams.
• Design and develop detailed project plans and manage workers and vendors towards those project goals
• Manage budgets for both labor and material and provide an estimate to completion of each project on a regular basis
• Identify opportunities with sales teams
• Analysis of existing infrastructure, cabling bids and specifications
• Contract Management
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to jobsite by working with purchasing department and vendors
• Regular interaction with vendors and sub-contractors
